Used Ford Ottosan 2725E 120hp Six Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Heat Exchanger Cooled Bobtail Marine Diesel Engine. 12V Electrics. Fitted With Borg Warner Adaptor & Drive Plate

We have a matching pair of these units available, recently taken in as part exchange against new FPT engines.

They were fully rebuilt 2 years ago including fuel pumps and injectors and have run approximately 2000hrs since rebuild onboard a seasonal passenger vessel operating wildlife spotting trips. Replaced with new FPT engines as part of a fleet standardisation plan and in running order when removed at the end of the 2024 season. One engine was fitted with a new alternator and fuel filter housing just before being removed.

Fairly rare engines as the Ottosan engines were the very last to be sold based on the Ford Dover block.

One engine is known to have a leak from the front crankshaft oil seal so a new seal is required.

These are part exchanges to clear and are being sold “as removed” on trade terms.
